Warm Stretchy Fleece - Thermal Flex

Thermal Flex was developed by Discovery Fabrics to fit a niche need for warm garments. We wanted it to have a smooth outer face to resist pet hair, with a light water repellent finish that resists the wind.  But, we also wanted the fabric to be very soft and comfortable...like wearing secret pyjamas! 

Thermal Flex is all that, and more! It offers enough stretch to be used for many leggings patterns, conservatively 40% side to side. Lengthwise stretch of 15% offers ease of movement so pants stay put at the waistline when bending. It is also very quiet! 

The fabric can be used for many projects. Toasty pullovers, casual pants, hats and warm cardigans are just a few suggestions. Always refer to your pattern requirements when choosing a fabric. This is not a waterproof fabric. The face is treated to be water repellent as in many quality outdoor garments, but it does not contain a technical membrane and will wet-out in prolonged rain.
